149 Humaniora Students Participate in Even Semester 2023/2024 Graduation Ceremony

HUMANIORA - (23/2/2024) The Faculty of Humanities at Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang held the Even Semester Graduation Ceremony for the Academic Year 2023/2024 on Friday, February 23, 2023. The graduation event, held at the Home Theater of the Faculty of Humanities on the third floor, was attended by 149 students from the Faculty of Humanities.
The participants of the graduation ceremony consisted of 54 students from the Arabic Language and Literature Study Program and 95 students from the English Literature Study Program. They have undergone an academic journey full of dedication and hard work, earning them the right to hold a bachelor's degree in the field of humanities.
In his speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Dr. M. Faisol, congratulated all the participants of the graduation ceremony for their remarkable achievements. Through this opportunity, M. Faisol appreciated their hard work and dedication during their studies. He also hoped that the bachelor's degrees they obtained would mark the beginning of their success in the future.
"Congratulations to all participants of the Faculty of Humanities Graduation Ceremony. May this success be the beginning of a journey and have a positive impact on the development of knowledge and service to society," he said.
Furthermore, M. Faisol advised the graduating students to remain enthusiastic and optimistic in facing life after completing their studies. According to him, graduates of the Faculty of Humanities must have strong mental resilience in facing any challenges. Challenges are opportunities for everyone to strive for success. "There is no success without hard work. Do not be afraid of failure, because failure can be the gateway to success. Effort, trust, and prayers," he emphasized.
In this graduation ceremony, the Faculty of Humanities designated six students as the best academic achievers in the Even Semester Graduation Ceremony 2023/2024. The determination of these six outstanding students is based on the Decree of the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities number B-3452/FHm/KP.01.2/12/2023.
The best graduates from the Arabic Language and Literature Study Program were Alda Azizah with a GPA of 3.88 (summa cum laude), followed by Hairul Anam with a GPA of 3.85 (summa cum laude), and Laili Ni'Matun Bahriyyah with a GPA of 3.81 (summa cum laude).
Meanwhile, the best graduates from the English Literature Study Program were Puja Ananda Maratus Solichah with a GPA of 3.75 (summa cum laude), followed by Naila Maghfiroh Dzil Fadli with a GPA of 3.73 (summa cum laude), and Dewi Wardah with a GPA of 3.72 (summa cum laude).
The Graduation Ceremony concluded with a collective prayer led by H. Ghufron, M. H.I. All graduation participants participated in the prayer activity with orderliness and solemnity.
