Achmad Syahrul Hidayatullah and Fingky Kharisa Ramaputri Selected as Jaka Rara Humanities 2024

HUMANIORA – (28/5/2024) A total of 10 finalists impressed at the Grand Final of Jaka Rara Faculty of Humanities 2024, held in the Theater Room of the Faculty of Humanities on Thursday, May 23, 2024. This event marked the culmination of a series of rigorous selection processes that the participants had previously undergone.
From the ten competing finalists, Achmad Syahrul Hidayatullah was crowned Jaka of the Faculty of Humanities 2024, while the title of Rara of the Faculty of Humanities 2024 went to Fingky Kharisa Ramaputri. Both are students of the English Literature program, class of 2023, and they outshone their competitors by captivating the judges with their impressive abilities and charm. The judging panel included Dr. Abdul Basid, S.S., M.Pd., Head of the Arabic Language and Literature Study Program, and Ihda Filyatin Nabilah, M.Pd., East Java Hijab Ambassador. In addition to Achmad Syahrul and Fingky Kharisa, the event also announced winners in several other categories. Ahmad Zaqi Zidanul Karim from the Arabic Language and Literature Study Program (class of 2023) and Shevy Indriana from the English Literature Study Program (class of 2022) were selected as Deputy Jaka and Rara of the Faculty of Humanities 2024.
The Integrity Zone Ambassador category was won by Achmad Fauzi (English Literature 2022) and Khoirutun Nisak (English Literature 2021), while Prayogi Prasetyo (Arabic Language and Literature 2023) and Putri Syakinah (English Literature 2022) were awarded the Talented Ambassador title.
Meanwhile, the Favorite Ambassador category, based on popularity and support from students, was won by Akbar Fariz Ramzi (English Literature 2022) and Adisty Nadia Putri (Arabic Language and Literature 2023).
The Grand Final was attended by several officials from the Faculty of Humanities, including the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Halimi, M.Pd., the Vice Dean for General Administration and Planning, Prof. Dr. Muassomah, M.Si., M.Pd., and the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Cooperation, Dr. Galuh Nur Rohmah, M.Ed., M.Pd., as well as the advisor of the Pesona Faculty of Humanities community, Whida Rositama, M.Hum., and other distinguished guests.
According to Dr. Abdul Basid, all finalists displayed outstanding performances. "The finalists were very prepared and were able to answer the judges' questions impressively. They were excellent," he said, appreciating the readiness and performance of the participants.
Meanwhile, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Halimi, expressed hope that the selected Jaka Rara would become representative faces of the Faculty of Humanities in various academic and cultural activities.
"I hope they (the finalists) can become agents in introducing and promoting the faculty's flagship programs at internal and external events, both at the university level and in other public forums," he hoped.
A similar sentiment was echoed by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Cooperation, Dr. Galuh Nur Rohmah. She expressed her hope that Jaka Rara could drive innovation in student and academic activities at the Faculty of Humanities.
"The finalists are expected to help drive innovation in student activities within the faculty. They can encourage students to think creatively and innovatively in facing new challenges in the digital era," she said.
The selection of Jaka Rara Faculty of Humanities is an annual event aimed at selecting faculty ambassadors who will actively contribute to advancing the faculty through various academic and cultural activities.
With Achmad Syahrul Hidayatullah and Fingky Kharisa Ramaputri being selected as Jaka Rara Faculty of Humanities 2024, it is hoped that they will lead the Faculty of Humanities at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang to greater achievements and broader recognition on national and international stages.
