Faculty of Humanities Lecturer Shares Knowledge at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta

HUMANIORA - (6/4/2024) Dr. Rohmani Nur Indah, M.Pd., a lecturer from the Faculty of Humanities at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, conducted a sharing session at the Faculty of Adab and Humanities, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta, on Monday, June 3, 2024.

The event was opened by the Vice Dean 3 of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities at UIN Jakarta, Prof. Usep Abdul Matin, S.Ag., M.A. (Leiden), M.A. (Duke), Ph.D. On this occasion, he expressed high appreciation for Dr. Rohmani's willingness to share her knowledge and experience with the lecturers and students of UIN Jakarta. Prof. Usep hoped that this session would provide great benefits to the participants.

With the theme "Potential Linguistics Studies in Digital Media," Dr. Rohmani discussed various research opportunities in linguistics in the digital era. She presented examples of research conducted by linguists worldwide and explained the contributions of these studies in understanding language and culture in the digital age.

The participants showed high enthusiasm during the sharing session. They actively asked various questions to Dr. Rohmani on topics related to linguistics and digital media.

After the session, Prof. Usep Abdul Matin expressed his hope that this sharing session would inspire the lecturers and students of UIN Jakarta to develop research in the field of digital linguistics. He also hoped that UIN Jakarta's lecturers would be encouraged to conduct linguistics research in the digital era and produce high-quality and beneficial works for society.

This activity is part of an effort to encourage the exchange of knowledge and experience between universities and to improve the quality of research in the field of digital linguistics in Indonesia. [al]
