
Faculty of Humanities Successfully Holds a Sharing Session on Financial Literacy for OMIK
HUMANIORA - (2/5/2024) The Faculty of Humanities has successfully organized a Sharing Session event on financial literacy together with the Student Organization Intra Campus (OMIK) on Thursday, May 2, 2024. The event held in the Dean's Room aimed to provide a deeper understanding of financial management in student activities to be handled by OMIK.
In this session, the OMIK executives of the Faculty of Humanities were given insights into various effective financial management strategies, especially in the context of student activities. The material presented was not only limited to practical aspects but also covered overall financial management.Dr. Galuh Nurochmah, M.Pd., the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Cooperation of the Faculty of Humanities, emphasized the importance of collaboration between the Faculty and OMIK in optimizing student activities.
"We hope that through this Sharing Session, OMIK can be more directed in carrying out its activities, in line with the vision and mission of the Faculty of Humanities. With a good understanding of financial literacy, it is expected that every activity handled by OMIK can run smoothly and efficiently," she said.In this activity, besides the presentation on financial management and activities being the main topics of discussion in this Sharing Session, concrete and strategic steps were also discussed to ensure that OMIK can understand well how to manage budgets, adjust to needs, and report transparently.
Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Muashomah, M.Pd., the Vice Dean for General Administration and Finance of the Faculty of Humanities, also explained that the main goal of this activity is for OMIK to be more skilled in managing the finances of student activities, especially in making accountability reports for the use of finances for student activities."So that the OMIK faculty officials can make financial usage reports neatly, accountably, and transparently," she emphasized.
This Financial Literacy Sharing Session initiated by the Faculty of Humanities is expected to make a positive contribution to improving the quality of financial management of student activities managed by OMIK. The spirit of collaboration between the Faculty and student organizations is expected to continue for mutual progress.The activity was initiated by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Cooperation in collaboration with the Vice Dean for General Administration and Finance of the Faculty of Humanities. Also present at this event were the daily executives from Sema, Dema, HMPS English Literature, and HMPS Arabic Language and Literature, as well as all financial departments and the Head of the General Affairs Office of the Faculty of Humanities.
