
Humaniora Announces Winners of the 2024 Business Plan Competition
HUMANIORA – (27/6/2024) The Faculty of Humanities at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang announced the winners of the 2024 Business Plan Competition through the Faculty of Humanities' official website (26/6). Two teams were declared winners after a rigorous selection by the jury in an event titled "Halal Business in the Digital Era." Both teams captured the judges' attention with their innovative ideas in business contexts that align with Islamic values and are relevant to modern needs.
The first place was awarded to a team consisting of Siti Nurhidayati and Umi Kulsum with their proposal titled "Hijab Collection (Uwais Hijab)." This proposal features a collection of hijabs that not only offer products that are halal according to Sharia law but also incorporate modern design elements that align with current digital era trends. They succeeded in creating a business plan that is not only creative but also has great potential for implementation in the rapidly growing market.Meanwhile, the second place was won by Kafia Azzahro and Hafidz Abdullah Azzam with their proposal titled "Kopi Fermentasi 'G-Note'." This proposal is equally intriguing, offering an innovative concept in coffee products with a unique fermentation process, making their products not only halal but also adding value in terms of quality and flavor. As a result, they drew the judges' attention with a promising business plan in the continuously evolving beverage industry.
The Vice Dean for Student Affairs of the Faculty of Humanities, Dr. Galuh Nur Rohmah, congratulated the two fortunate winning teams and expressed her hopes for the success of the students in this competition. "Congratulations to the winning teams. We hope this achievement will be the seed for the emergence of ideas that are not only creative but also ethical and sustainable. This is a golden opportunity for them to showcase the talents and contributions of students in realizing businesses that align with Islamic values and modern needs," she said.The winners of this competition are not only entitled to recognition for their success but also a total prize of 4 million rupiah for the two best teams. This demonstrates the faculty's commitment to supporting innovation and student development in creating business opportunities with potential in the increasingly digitally connected global market.
