Humaniora Promotes Inclusive and Participatory Environment, Hosts Community Complaint Service Socialization

HUMANIORA – (August 29, 2024) The Faculty of Humanities successfully held a socialization event on community services and complaint mechanisms on August 29, 2024. The event, held at the Islamic Tutorial Center (ICT) building, aimed to provide students with a better understanding of the various services available and the complaint mechanisms they can utilize. The event featured three keynote speakers: Nur Wahyudi, Mukhammad Syaikhu, and Lestari Kasih, each discussing crucial topics related to the faculty's services.
Nur Wahyudi opened the session by explaining the types of online correspondence services available. He provided a comprehensive guide on how to access and use the digital administrative system provided by the faculty, enabling students to efficiently manage their administrative needs. This explanation was aimed at simplifying the often complex administrative processes for students.
Next, Mukhammad Syaikhu reviewed the community complaint services, focusing on how to effectively communicate criticism and suggestions. He emphasized the importance of the complaint channels as a tool to improve service quality at the faculty. Syaikhu also explained the various mechanisms available for students to provide constructive feedback and how the faculty responds to and follows up on received complaints.
In the final session, Lestari Kasih discussed the service procedures within the Faculty of Humanities. She outlined the steps students must follow to utilize the various services offered by the faculty, from course registration to academic advising. This explanation was intended to provide practical guidance and ensure that students can access services easily and without obstacles.
The event was opened with a speech by Heny Triasih, Head of the Faculty of Humanities Administration, who highlighted the importance of transparency and communication in enhancing service quality. Heny Triasih emphasized that this activity is part of the faculty's commitment to improving services and building better relationships with students. Through this socialization, it is hoped that students will better understand their rights and feel more engaged in the complaint process, thus creating a more inclusive and responsive academic environment.
