Humaniora Student Wins Third Place in National Pencak Silat Championship

HUMANIORA – (9/8/2024) Zid-li Auliyana Luthfillah, a student of the Arabic Language and Literature Program (BSA) at the Faculty of Humanities, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, has once again achieved outstanding success on the national stage. At the National Pencak Silat Championship Lintang Songo CUP III, held on July 5, 2024, in Tulungagung, Zid-li won third place at the national level. This achievement demonstrates that students of the Faculty of Humanities excel not only academically but also in sports and martial arts.
The National Pencak Silat Championship Lintang Songo CUP III attracted participants from various regions across Indonesia, making this competition prestigious and highly competitive. Zid-li, currently in his third semester, showed dedication and fighting spirit in every match. He managed to overcome his opponents from various pencak silat schools in Indonesia, ultimately securing the third position.
Zid-li shared that participating in this championship was a delightful and valuable experience. "It was very enjoyable and a valuable experience for me," he said. This experience not only enriched his pencak silat skills but also boosted his confidence and determination to continue achieving.
Zid-li's success was not without the full support of the Faculty of Humanities, which consistently encourages students to develop their potential in various fields. The Vice Dean of Cooperation and Student Affairs, Dr. Galuh Nur Rohmah, expressed her appreciation and pride for Zid-li's achievement. "We are very proud of Zid-li's accomplishment.
