Humanities Student Wins XVIII Mahrojan Arobi UM

HUMANIORA- (8/7/2024) The Faculty of Humanities at Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University Malang has once again achieved remarkable success through its outstanding students. Ahmad Nur Hafidh, a fourth-semester student of the Arabic Language and Literature Study Program, won first place in the XVIII Mahrojan Arobi UM. This event was organized by the Student Association of the Department of Arabic Literature at Malang State University and took place from July 3, 2024, to June 6, 2024.

Mahrojan Arobi UM is one of the prestigious competitions participated in by contestants from all over Indonesia, including major cities such as Surabaya, Solo, Kediri, Jombang, and Aceh. This competition serves as a platform for students to hone their skills and compete in the field of Arabic language and literature.

Ahmad Nur Hafidh, who won first place, expressed his gratitude and thanks. "Alhamdulillah, I am still given the opportunity to win the competition for the 9th time, bringing a good name to our university and study program," he said. He also revealed that this achievement was the result of a long process and dedication, especially after not winning in the same event last year.

"This championship did not come instantly; it took a process. I thank the teachers who have guided me," Ahmad added. He also hopes to be given consistency to continue learning so he can be useful to others.

The achievement of Ahmad Nur Hafidh is not only a source of pride for himself but also for the Faculty of Humanities at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The Dean of the Faculty of Humanities expressed his appreciation for this achievement, considering it proof of the faculty's commitment to supporting the development of students' competencies in both academic and non-academic fields.

"Ahmad Nur Hafidh's achievement in the XVIII Mahrojan Arobi UM demonstrates the quality of education at the Faculty of Humanities and the fighting spirit of our students.
