Humanities Students Win 1st Place in National Scientific Writing Competition

HUMANIORA – (June 11, 2024) Muhammad Nur, a student of the Arabic Language and Literature Study Program at the Faculty of Humanities, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, has achieved a remarkable accomplishment at the national level. In the "Semarak Milad PBA" event organized by IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo from June 1 to 7, 2024, Nur, a fourth-semester student from Bima, NTB, won 1st place in the Scientific Writing Competition (KTI).
This event, held to celebrate the 19th anniversary of the Arabic Language Education Department (PBA), attracted participants from all over Indonesia. The fierce competition did not deter Muhammad Nur from presenting his best paper and bringing home the championship title.
The student from Bima, NTB, expressed his gratitude and joy. "Alhamdulillah, I have previously participated and won in Physics Olympiad, Story Telling, Arabic Speech, and Tahfidz competitions. Although I had participated in essay competitions before, this was my first experience in the Scientific Writing Competition, and I managed to win 1st place at the national level. I hope this achievement will motivate me further and help me grow in the future," he said.
This victory is not only a personal pride for Muhammad Nur but also for the Faculty of Humanities at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, which continues to support the development of its students' potential and creativity. This achievement proves that the students of the Faculty of Humanities can compete and excel at the national level, bringing honor to the university in the academic arena.
