Humanities Students Win First Place in National Musabaqoh Fahmil Qur’an

HUMANIORA – (24/5/2024) Students from the Faculty of Humanities at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang have once again demonstrated their excellence on a national level. In the SEMAR XI Competition organized by the Student Executive Council (DEMA) of STAI Al-Anwar, Faizur Rosyid Azhari secured first place in the Musabaqoh Fahmil Qur'an (MFQ) category. This event took place from Monday to Wednesday, May 20-22, 2024, at STAI Al-Anwar Sarang, Rembang, Central Java.
In an interview, Faizur Rosyid expressed his gratitude for his achievement. "Alhamdulillah, this is the second MFQ competition I have participated in as a student, and it has yielded positive results again. This success is due to regular practice, as well as the prayers and support from everyone, especially the founder of the new El-Faqih Fahmil Club. This is not only a personal pride but also for my friends and beloved alma mater. I hope this achievement can inspire other students to continue creating and bringing honor to the university," said the student from Malang with enthusiasm.
Dr. Galuh Nur Rohmah, Vice Dean for Cooperation and Student Affairs, expressed her pride in Faizur and his team's accomplishment. "This achievement shows that students from the Faculty of Humanities can compete and excel at the national level. We hope this serves as motivation for other students to continue achieving and bringing good name to the faculty and the university," she said.
Faizur, currently in his second semester in the Arabic Language and Literature program, competed alongside his two colleagues, Meilinda Frasasti (Indonesian Language and Literature) and M. Nanda Wildan Zulfa (Islamic Education). They showcased their best abilities in this competition, which involved deep knowledge of the Qur'an and proficiency in various Islamic aspects.
The SEMAR XI Competition was organized to enhance the creativity and productivity of students, as well as to strengthen the network of friendship among students across Indonesia. This event was participated in by various universities from all over Indonesia, making it a highly competitive competition.
The achievement of Faizur Rosyid Azhari and his team in the Musabaqoh Fahmil Qur'an is a testament to their dedication and hard work, as well as the full support from their community and institution.
