Inspiring Students, LPMA Chair Presents the Results of Humaniora’s 2023 Tracer Study

HUMANIORA - (7/5/2024) In an effort to provide inspiration and a clear vision of future careers for students, the Faculty of Humanities at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang held an event featuring two inspirational speakers, Mim Yudiarto and Roli Maulidiansyah. However, not only that, the event also served as a platform to present the results of the 2023 tracer study of students from the Faculty of Humanities conducted by the Student and Alumni Development Laboratory (LPMA) of the Faculty of Humanities.
Representing the LPMA of the Faculty of Humanities, Mahrus Ali, M.Sn., presented the extent to which alumni have succeeded in their careers after completing their studies at the Faculty of Humanities. The results of the tracer study released by the LPMA of the Faculty of Humanities revealed very encouraging data. Out of the total alumni, 53.4% were successfully absorbed into the job market and are currently pursuing various professions.
Furthermore, Mahrus explained that this proud achievement does not stop there. The data shows that 57% of graduates from the Faculty of Humanities managed to enter the workforce within less than 3 months after graduation. Mahrus's statement is expected to provide a clear picture for students of the Faculty of Humanities in charting their future careers.
Mahrus also highlighted the involvement of Faculty of Humanities alumni in various sectors, ranging from language practitioners, journalism to the creative industry. This demonstrates the flexibility and high competitiveness possessed by the graduates, in line with the faculty's efforts to provide practical skills-oriented learning. This tracer study not only records achievements but also provides inspiration for students and prospective students to achieve success quickly in the workforce. [al]
