Maulana Fikri and Ummi Hasanah Embark on Student Exchange at OMU, Turkey

HUMANITIES – (8/11/2023) Two students from the Faculty of Humanities have successfully passed the selection process for the 2023 Student Exchange program at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Maulana Muhammad Fikri and Ummi Hasanah, students of the Arabic Language and Literature Program in their seventh semester, have been selected to participate in the student exchange program at Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU), Turkey, for a duration of 2 weeks, from November 5 to November 20, 2023.

Fikri and Ummi, along with 19 other participants from UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, have joined the exchange program. They are currently experiencing a different academic environment at Ondokuz Mayıs University, having departed from UIN Malang to Turkey on Sunday, November 5, 2023.

Maulana and Ummi express great happiness for this opportunity. Separately, Maulana Fikri shares his positive impression, "I am delighted to have the opportunity to study at a foreign university. Experiencing a different learning atmosphere is a very valuable experience."

The Student Exchange program not only provides valuable experiences for Maulana and Ummi but also aims to strengthen the relationship between UIN Malang and Ondokuz Mayis Universitesi. Additionally, the program enables students to broaden their global perspectives and engage in collaborative research at the destination campus.
