
PBAK-F Officially Opened, Humanities Dean Encourages Students to Prepare for the Era of Disruption
HUMANIORA – (August 22, 2024) To welcome new students and prepare them for the world of higher education, the Faculty of Humanities at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang organized the Pengenalan Budaya Akademik dan Kemahasiswaan (PBAK) event on Thursday, August 22, 2024. The event was attended by new students, faculty leaders, and the entire PBAK committee who worked hard to ensure the success of the event.

The PBAK event was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Dr. M. Faisol. In his opening remarks, M. Faisol extended a warm welcome to the new students who have officially become part of the Faculty of Humanities family."Welcome to all the new students of the Faculty of Humanities at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. You are now part of the larger Humanities family, a place where creativity, critical thinking, and the spirit of collaboration will grow together," he said.

Dr. M. Faisol further emphasized that entering the world of higher education in this digital and disruptive era is a great challenge that requires mental and intellectual readiness. He also stressed the importance of a collaborative spirit amidst the unavoidable pluralism of modern life."Entering this challenging era of disruption, we are required to do more than just learn. You must be able to think critically, understand pluralism, and be prepared to collaborate to face the changes of the times. Remember, with solid knowledge and a collaborative attitude, we will be able to face any challenge and achieve success in the future," said Dr. Faisol to the new students.
At the same time, Dr. Faisol also expressed his appreciation and gratitude to all the PBAK committee members and everyone involved in organizing the event. "Thank you to all the committee members and teams who have worked hard to welcome our new students. This event is very important as a first step for them to enter a new academic world."As a symbolic gesture to officially start the PBAK, Dr. Faisol hung ID cards on the representatives of the new students, marking that they have officially become part of the Faculty of Humanities at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang.
This PBAK event is expected not only to introduce new students to academic culture but also to prepare them to adapt to the dynamic college environment and develop their potential through collaborative spirit and critical thinking, which are keys to success in this digital era. [al]
