Sharing Session at Al-Qoyyim Islamic Boarding School, BSA Head Gives Motivation to Students

HUMANIORA - (3/5/2024) The Arabic Language and Literature Program (BSA) of the Faculty of Humanities at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang continued its spirit of community service by visiting the Al-Qoyyim Islamic Boarding School in Kasembon, Malang on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. Hundreds of students enthusiastically welcomed the community service program brought by the BSA Program, with the theme "Motivation for Students to Reach Their Dreams".
In front of the students, Dr. Abdul Basid provided motivation for the students to always be enthusiastic about learning. He believes that students have great potential for success amidst globalization. With an independent environment and strong religious values, he believes that students have great potential to face global challenges. "Students have great potential for success amidst globalization," he said.
Furthermore, the BSA Program Head highlighted the excellence of students in independence and the religious values they acquire in the Islamic boarding school. "Students have been honed in independence, discipline, and mental resilience needed to face various obstacles," he said.
In the same opportunity, Dr. Abdul Basid also shared information and tips for achieving a bright future through education. He highlighted the role of the government in paying attention to Islamic boarding school education, including providing facilities and scholarships to continue studies at universities.
Moreover, he stated that the religious education they receive provides a strong moral foundation, preparing them to be leaders of integrity and responsibility in society.
"With increased access to formal education and scholarship opportunities, students also have an equal opportunity to pursue further studies at universities and contribute to important fields such as science, technology, and humanities," he emphasized. [al]
