Supervising Final Projects, English Literature Program Holds Coaching Clinic for Students

HUMANIORA – The Faculty of Humanities at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang has organized a Coaching Clinic for the creation of thesis titles for students in the English Literature Program. This event was inaugurated on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, and is scheduled to run for five sessions until May 30, 2024. The clinic is attended by 33 students in their 8th semester or higher who have not yet found a thesis title.
The Coaching Clinic is mentored by several experienced lecturers, including Dr. Mundi Rahayu, M. Hum., Dr. Muzakki Afifuddin, M.Pd., and Habiba Al-Umami. These intensive guidance sessions are designed to help students find appropriate thesis titles and understand the correct topics, content, and structure for their theses.
The Secretary of the English Literature Program, M. Edy Thoyib, MA., expressed his hopes that this activity would provide tangible benefits for students facing challenges in drafting their thesis proposals. "We hope that through this Coaching Clinic, students can more easily determine their thesis titles and understand the entire thesis writing process. This is an important step to help them complete their studies well and on time," he said.
With structured guidance focused on student needs, the Faculty of Humanities at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang demonstrates its commitment to supporting students' academic success. This activity is expected not only to facilitate students in writing their theses but also to enhance the scientific quality within the Faculty of Humanities.
This program is a concrete effort to ensure that English Literature students can complete their final projects smoothly and on time, while also improving the quality of research and academic output produced by the faculty. [al]
