You-I Japan Offers International Internship Program to Humanities Faculty

HUMANIORA - (7/15/2024) The President of You-I Japan Indonesia, M. Matsui, expressed his intention to explore collaboration opportunities with the Faculty of Humanities. He conveyed this to the leadership of the Faculty of Humanities during an online meeting held on Thursday, July 11, 2024. Matsui also praised the array of international programs organized by the Faculty of Humanities, such as I-YES, I-CAN, and I-MOVE, which have attracted global attention, including from Japan.
"We highly appreciate the Faculty of Humanities' initiative in developing extraordinary international programs. We see a lot of positive potential in your students," said Matsui.
Furthermore, Matsui offered internship opportunities for students of the Faculty of Humanities at various companies in Japan. He stated that these opportunities are intended to provide students with firsthand experience of the Japanese work culture.
"We offer an International Internship Program for students of the Faculty of Humanities. They will intern at various companies in Japan to enhance their professional skills and open international career paths for them," he emphasized.
Meanwhile, the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Dr. M. Faisol, enthusiastically welcomed this collaboration offer. In his remarks, he stated that this opportunity would greatly benefit the students. "We are very grateful for this collaboration offer. The internship opportunity in Japan will be an invaluable experience for our students, not only in enhancing their professional skills but also in broadening their horizons and understanding of global culture," said Dr. M. Faisol. This meeting is expected to strengthen the relationship between the Faculty of Humanities at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang and You-I Japan Indonesia. Previously, the Faculty of Humanities had conducted several international collaborations in the field of innovation and curriculum development to enrich the study programs at the Faculty of Humanities. Additionally, several students from the Faculty of Humanities have received direct training from the Innovation Trainer at the Fashion Institute ESMOD, J. Mahameru, M.Sc., M.Litt., who has international entrepreneurship experience. This collaboration will not only open new opportunities for students to develop skills and international careers but also strengthen the relationship between the two institutions in various aspects of education and innovation.
